FHA Platform Manager

Sandy has been with M&T Realty Capital Corporation (M&T RCC) for over 20 years and currently serves as the FHA Platform Manager. Sandy is responsible for overseeing and expanding FHA opportunities, with a focus on growing the M&T RCC FHA program.

She began her career at M&T RCC in the Fannie Mae underwriting department and quickly transitioned to FHA underwriting, earning MAP and LEAN underwriting certifications from HUD. She also served as deputy chief FHA underwriter, where she supervised the underwriting group and managed multifamily and healthcare assets across the United States. In 2016, Sandy transitioned to loan production, where she has successfully financed over $3 billion in multifamily affordable and conventional financings, as well as seniors housing and healthcare financings.

Sandy has been the recipient of several awards, including M&T Bank’s President’s Council Awards in 2019 for outstanding achievements and contributions to the bank—as well as its prestigious “Top 10 Sales Achiever” recognition in 2020–2021. She holds a bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, logistics, and transportation from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and a master’s degree from The Edward St. John Real Estate Program at Johns Hopkins Carey Business School.
