Rob serves as a Commercial Mortgage Originator for M&T Realty Capital Corporation (M&T RCC). During his professional tenure, he estimates he has closed more than $4 billion in mortgages. He started his career working for KPMG where he earned his CPA certificate and spent much of his time there working in the tax department. Like many in the public accounting community, he left KPMG to work for a client, Chesco/Nichols Company, a commercial real estate development company. After a few years in private accounting, Rob transitioned to commercial real estate finance. Although he initially started out in a smaller firm, he later moved to Carey, Kramer, Pettit, Panichelli & Associates, Inc., where he was voted the firm’s third partner. Years later, the partners agreed to sell the company to M&T RCC, where he continues his role as commercial mortgage banker.

Rob holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Villanova University in Pennsylvania.
