John serves as a Senior Vice President and Senior Managing Director at M&T Realty Capital Corporation (M&T RCC) in the Baltimore office, where he is responsible for managing both correspondent and direct lending relationships, showcasing his adeptness in fostering and maintaining key partnerships. In John’s 26-year-long tenure at RCC, he has also exceled in his role as an originator, focused on the Southeast and Midwest/Southwest regions of the United States.

Prior to joining M&T RCC, John accumulated five years of agency lending experience with Walker and Dunlop, based in Washington, DC. Additionally, John spent four years in investment sales with CB Commercial, where he specialized in multifamily valuations and sales, demonstrating his proficiency in the multifamily sector.

John's career foundation was built during a decade-long stint as a commercial banker. During this time, he developed a strong background in credit and risk analysis, origination, and asset management, particularly within commercial real estate construction loan portfolios. He earned a bachelor's degree from Davison College in North Carolina.
