FHA Chief Underwriter

Leslie joined M&T Realty Capital Corporation (M&T RCC) as Managing Director and FHA Chief Underwriter in December 2022. With nearly 28 years of commercial real estate finance and title insurance experience—and over 25 years specializing in FHA-insured finance for multifamily and healthcare, Leslie brings a wealth of knowledge to the team. Her expertise spans all facets of FHA financing, including affordable housing, LIHTC, construction, and substantial/moderate rehabilitation and healthcare.

Before joining M&T RCC, Leslie was the managing director and FHA program manager at CBRE’s FHA Lending Platform, where she drove production growth and oversaw the FHA multifamily and healthcare underwriting teams. She also served as chief underwriter at AmeriSphere Mortgage Finance (now known as Northmarq), where she helped start the division that insures FHA mortgages.

Leslie holds a bachelor's degree in politics and philosophy from Lake Forest College in Illinois and is based in Denver.
